Dates

We operate our cycling breaks between Easter and the end of October, when the weather is likely to be most favourable for cycling.

You can start your holiday on any day of the week (subject to availability, of course).  This can help with your costs if you are able to travel mid-week and maybe take advantage of cheaper travel.

Your stay begins from 4.00pm on arrival day and ends at 11.00am on departure day.

Special Offer for April - stay 5 nights or longer and get one night FREE
Easter weekend now full - but 5 nights before (depart Thurs) or after (arrive Mon) still available.  Later dates in April also still available - and check out cheap flights from Manchester/Stansted/Dublin into Tours www.ryranair.com

Rates

We have one price whatever time of year you visit.  We know that your overall holiday cost will be more if you come in the main holiday season (as travelling to us will be more costly) but as the price of our food, accommodation and cycles is the same to us year-round, we don't  add a premium to your holiday.

Because we want our holidays to be as flexible as possible, you can stay for any length of time (minimum 4 nights) and choose if you would like to have evening meals here some of the nights during your stay.

The table below shows the 2012 prices for stays up to 7 nights on a bed and breakfast basis.  For additional nights above this, please use the extra night price per person.

Number of Nights Adult Child
7 nights 685 210
6 nights 620 192
5 nights 545 170
4 nights 460 144
Extra nights (above 7) 90 30

All prices are in Euros and per person.
Child prices apply to children under 18 years old, where they stay in a 2 bedroom suite with the adults.
Adult prices apply for 2 people sharing our Automne or Hiver rooms or for adults sharing a 2 bedroom suite with children.
For 2 adults wishing to stay in our Printemps or Ete double rooms, we charge a small supplement - 10 euros per room per night for Printemps, 20 euros per room per night for Ete.
Please contact us to confirm prices for our self-catering options.
For stays between 1 April and 31 October, a 'Taxe de Sejour' of 50 cents per adult per night is also payable.

"Cycling in the Loire had long been on my list of 'must-dos'.  This experience met all my expectations.  Your support and advice and directions were all excellent.  Thank you again."  Kate, David and Rachel, Toronto, Canada, June 2011 - view more guests comments

Evening Meals

Stays with us are on a bed and breakfast basis, although we do serve suppers several nights a week.   We use plenty of fresh local produce to ensure your meals follow the tradition of eating according to the season.   All meals include local wines/soft drinks and tea or coffee to finish.  Alternatively there are a selection of restaurants in our nearest town - Bourgueil - just 4km away.  If you would like the option to prepare your own evening meals, you may wish to consider a self-catering location.

How to book

If you are interested in making a booking, please contact us - phone or e-mail is quickest and our contact details are below.

We ask for a 50 euros non-refundable deposit per person at the time of booking.  The balance is due 8 weeks before your holiday starts.  As soon as we have your deposit we will send you a detailed information pack, including directions, tips on what clothes and equipment to bring and (we hope) answers to all your questions about your holiday.
