Taking in the best of what the Loire has to offer, this is the break where you decide exactly what you want.   We can give you some suggestions and can advise you what’s available, but the itinerary is ultimately up to you.

As a starting point, take your pick from the following most popular attractions in the area

    Chateaux – from the grandiose to the unusual

    Wine Tasting – red, white, rose and sparkling are all produced here.

    Cycling – great routes through the river valley (pretty and no hills!)

    Leisure Activities – walking, canoeing, swimming, forest adventure park

    Historic Towns and Buildings – Saumur, Chinon, Fontevraud, Tours

    Gastronomy – French food markets, Loire specialities and fantastic restaurants.  

 

We are just a few minutes from the Loire itself, so plenty goes on here all year round – we always have a surprise or two for you.   We provide a fabulous breakfast each day for all guests and if you choose, you can eat here in the evening too – we prepare evening meals with local wines/soft drinks 4 nights a week.

We are certain there’s more than enough here for everyone whenever you choose to visit, so just tell us what you like and how many days you want to spend here – the rest is up to us.
