It
doesn’t cost us any more to provide your accommodation, meals or routes in the
high season, so unlike other operators, we don’t charge you any
more. And you
can start and finish your holidays on a day to suit you,
to take advantage of mid-week travel, keeping down the overall cost

Flexible
route options
You
don't have to fit into any standard itinerary, we will design a break just for
you: you can stay as long as you want, from 4 nights upwards and choose how
far you want to walk each day and for how many days of your break.
Whilst we have several way marked routes
on our doorstep, to enable you to get the most from your time here, you have the
added flexibility included in the deal:
“Get
on your bike and ride” – we include the use of a bicycle for the length of
your stay. This means that you can cycle to a local walk start point, enjoy the walk, and cycle
home afterwards, or cycle to the local station - take a 10 minute train ride and
enjoy a walk starting from the station of arrival - this extends the
range of walks available from our base. If you fancy
a wholes day in the saddle then we are happy to provide a cycling route
too.
For
those guests who arrive with their own transport, we have a number of
routes which combine a short drive to a more distant start point, plus a
round trip walking route, before the drive back. We carefully select
the driving part of these routes so guests can appreciate much of this
wonderful area en route to their walk, as well as the sights on the walk
itself. These routes take in more of the famous sites and chateaux
in the area.
